I know a lot of people said it was bigger then expected, but honestly it was! I was so pleased, i don't think i've ever owned this big of a mug. It's great for hot chocolate but i think i'd also be able to have soup in there or some other food. the design is great and looks so cute. I also like that the mug is a little heavy which makes you feel like its well made and it doesn't get as hot as other mugs do when you heat them in the microwave which is nice.
